PT Indal Steel Pipe (ISP) is contributing to the development of the Dumai–Sei Mangkei (DUSEM) Gas Transmission Pipeline Project, one of Indonesia's National Strategic Projects (PSN) aimed at strengthening the natural gas transmission network across Sumatra. The pipeline connects Dumai and Sei Mangkei to enhance the reliability of energy distribution for industrial sectors and power generation.
Supporting the Use of Domestic Products
The DUSEM Project utilizes API 5L X52 PSL 2 steel pipes designed to meet the requirements of high-pressure natural gas transmission. The use of domestically manufactured materials reflects Indonesia's commitment to increasing Local Content Requirements (TKDN) while strengthening the competitiveness of the national steel manufacturing industry.
PT Indal Steel Pipe participates in supplying a portion of the steel pipes required for the project in accordance with the specified technical standards. This contribution is supported by the company's large-diameter steel pipe manufacturing facilities, anti-corrosion coating capabilities, and quality control systems that meet the demands of energy and infrastructure projects.

Industry Collaboration for Sustainable Energy Infrastructure
The project's steel pipe requirements are fulfilled through the collaboration of several domestic manufacturers, with PT Krakatau Pipe Industries serving as the primary supplier and PT Indal Steel Pipe contributing as one of the participating manufacturers. This collaboration is expected to strengthen Sumatra's gas transmission network, support Indonesia's energy security, and further enhance the growth of the country's steel manufacturing industry.
